Surfing near Tokyo, Japan

Surfing in Tokyo
When you need to get away from the busy city of Tokyo, a day on a surfboard is a good option!
Local trains take you to the city of Odawara directly from Tokyo or via the old city of Kamakura.
The best places to surf is Shichirigahama for beginners and medium skilled surfers. For the world class waves chose Inamuragasaki beach. There are rental stores, lockers and showers if you need that and places to hang out afterwards.
Chose a clear autumn day for a good view of Mount Fuji as a backdrop!
