Sealion watching at Islas Ballestas in Peru

Ballestas Islands Peru
The coast of Peru is a great place for animal watching. A 3 hours drive down the coast from Lima is the bay of Paracas. Here your take the boats on a two hours tour out to the Islas Ballestas. These islands is a paradise not only for birdwatchers but anyone that wants to see fantastic colonies of birds, penguins and sea lions. The boats takes you up close to the animals without interfering with their life. At very few places in the world you get this close to sea lions that covers the beaches. You can not only hear their screams but also fell what they smell like. Maybe that is not the nicest smell but this is animal in real. Don't miss Islas Ballestas on a tour to Peru!
